Actress Bhavana breaks silence on sexual assault, says, "I wanted my dignity back"
Actress Bhavana has said that she was devastated and wanted to get her quality back after she was sexually assualted five times agone.

In a live interview to a private YouTube channel,'The Mojo Story', the noted actress spoke up, ending her five- time silence, and declared that she'd give a strong fight without allowing about the outgrowth
The actress, who had endeavored prominent places in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu pictures, said her family, including her hubby, close cousins, musketeers and the general public had supported her during her traumatic period. Bhavna said"My quality has been tattered to a million pieces."It was sheer restraint that kept her going, she added. The actress said she felt lonely despite the strong support extended to her by her family and musketeers.
She recalled how she was in the courtroom for 15 days in 2020 from morning till evening. Each time a counsel cross-questioned her and she was quizzed by a battery of seven attorneys she had to prove that she was innocent
Bhavana said the perpetrators were affronting her on social media after the traumatic incident and added that after the incident she was denied acting jobs in the Malayalam film assiduity. The notable exceptions were directors similar as Aashiq Abu and Shaji Kailas, actor- turned- director Prithviraj, and actor Jayasurya.
The actress was abducted in 2017 when she was returning home from a firing position and was subordinated to sexual assault by a gang of men.
The incident swelled into a major contestation after the main indicted, Pulsar Sunil, revealed that popular Malayalam actor Dileep was behind the assault. Dileep was arrested and is now on bail.
Mollywood actress Bhavana Menon talked openly about her atrocities and the heads she encountered latterly. In a show named'Global Town Hall', Bhavana shared in an event organised in association with'We the Women of Asia'connected to Women's Day, on March 08.
The actress recalled," numerous people stood by me during those days of agony. But I was alone at the court. And I felt devastated. But also I realised that I must fight. I realised that I had done nothing wrong. I realised that I should prove my innocence. When I came out of the court on the 15th day, I felt I am a survivor and not a victim. My mind induced me that I am a survivor," said Bhavana.
