Neelanjana Ray is Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner, lifts trophy, takes home ₹10 lakh
Neelanjana Ray surfaced as the winner of the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Sunday. Rajashri Bag and Sharad Sharma were the first and alternate runners-up at the homestretch of the singing reality show that was held Sunday night. Vishal Dadlani, Shankar Mahadevan, and Himesh Reshammiya were on the judges' panel while Aditya Narayan was the host for the show. Vocalizers Udit Narayan and Shilpa Rao were the special guests for the homestretch occasion. Rajashri and Sharad also won ₹ 5 lakh and ₹ 3 lakh independently.
Expressing her happiness over the palm, Neelanjana said in a press statement, “ I'm so happy to have won Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2021 and extremely thankful to the followership for all their appreciation and love. This is similar a surreal moment for me, and I really can not believe that this inconceivable trip has come to an end. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been such an enriching experience. There's a lot that I've had the occasion to learn from our judges, the instructors, and the grand jury members who have been extremely probative and encouraging throughout our trip.”
She added,"Of course, I'll miss the expansive training and trial sessions that we regularly had. But, utmost of all, I'll cherish all those priceless moments that I spent with my fellow rivals, relating with them cheering them on. Everyone on our set has been like a family member to me, and I would love to thank Zee TV for furnishing me with this amazing occasion."
In the homestretch occasion, Neelanjana Ray, Sharad Sharma, Rajashri Bag, Sanjana Bhatt, Ananya Chakraborty, and Snigdhajit Bhowmik were the top six rivals and they delivered performances on colorful iconic Bollywood songs. The judges-Shankar Mahadevan, Himesh Reshammiya, and Vishal Dadlani- also performed.
